I am originally from Bonaire & I love the nature of the island; I feel Bonaire is special because of its landscape, the sea, and the natural way in which Cargill produces Salt here keeping the balance between nature and the industry.
The friendliness of Bonairean people with their stress less life, makes me feel as if I was on vacation all year even that I have to go to work every day!
On Bonaire Tours & Vacations I feel like I am part of a great team in the office as well in the operational field, where we all have a great sense of humor but with a great feeling of responsibility for the things we have to do to make our guests stay on the island unforgettable and to make them come back to this fantastic island in the Caribbean.

The work is very diverse and each of us in our team is oneself, we all understand our work, and we all are respectful to each other. For this reason, after working so many years one with another I have the feeling that we truly love each other in our team.
After 5 years of living in my hometown again, I understood that I was missing the tranquility of Bonaire, it’s birds, it’s sea & it’s nature, and above all, the fact that you can easily combine work and family without having to give up on any of them.
I am the type of person who cannot only do one type of work, so I love Bonaire Tours & Vacations exactly for that! Everyday is different, where either I’m preparing a party for 150 people or arranging a private tour for a couple, or assisting the wedding planner on a wedding on the beach or working on the pier with the cruise ship tourists etc… It all has to do with meeting new people everyday, facing new challenges & working as a part of a great motivated team in a paradisiacal environment! Who wouldn’t love it?

As a kid I wished to live on an island and so I came to Bonaire since 1980, I have seen the development of Bonaire for the last 34 years!
With Bonaire Tours & Vacations we are making a good team together & I am pleased to work within the touristic industry, because I do meet with different kinds of people and with patience I enjoy showing the tourists as much as possible of Bonaire.
