Kralendijk has three piers that can accommodate the largest cruise ship around such as “Queen Mary 2”, the “Sea Princes” and “Arcadia”.

Kralendijk Harbour is also used for break-bulk and container cargo and mega yachts:

Pilotage is compulsory for all vessels over 50GRT calling at Kralendijk and is available 24 hours a day. Bonaire Port Authority monitors VHF Channel 16 during office hours. The pilot boarding area for Kralendijk is LAT 12 Deg. 12’8.3” North and LON 68 Deg. 17’6” West. Approx. one mile west of Kralendijk Piers, south of the Island of Klein Bonaire.
It is not permitted to discharge dirty ballast into the waters of Bonaire. Ballast water must be clean oceanic water, devoid of any obvious river line or coastal influence taken at least 12 miles offshore within 24hrs of arrival. Vessel will face serious fines and will be returned to sea with all costs on Owner’s Account if vessel discharges dirty ballast.

Note: A ballast water declaration to be signed by Master prior berthing will be presented by the Pilot upon onboard.

Garbage collection service is available and can be arranged through the vessels agent. Garbage should consist of domestic garbage and cans in plastic bags. Food rests and oily residues are not accepted.
