Dive for a worthy cause! Join the mission of Reef Renewal Foundation Bonaire to protect and restore coral reefs in Bonaire’s Marine Park and demonstrate there is still hope for coral reefs.

This very special coral restoration dive combines classroom instruction plus a field dive to provide a hands-on learning experience.

You will be introduced to the basics of coral restoration and to what Bonaire is doing to preserve and restore their reefs for an unforgettable diving experience.

Assist the team of Reef Renewal Foundation with such tasks as conducting surveys, collecting data, maintenance, cleaning or removing predators that can damage the corals.

At the nursery, corals are started from clippings and, after a year on the reef, they can grow to several inches tall and in 5 years they are habitats for marine life.

You will also enjoy a Reef Dive at Bonaire’s Marine Park, where 130 different species of fish make their home, not to mention the chance to see turtles or rays that can pass by, at the same time!

After your dive, take part in a de-briefing and enjoy a light lunch.
